We seek to create partnerships with both acquirers of technology (industry) and sources of research ideas (universities and other research establishments).
We have a growing number of informal relationships with businesses, both large and small, particularly in the areas of energy, environment, healthcare and materials. The IPSO network is designed to supplement these relationships with expertise and experience.
Our relationships with universities and research establishments are also growing. We established our first formal relationship with Loughborough University in 2007 and this gives us access to an exciting array of technology ideas. Our other relationships with universities in the UK and worldwide are more informal but some may develop further in the future.
