SUCCESSFUL CUSTOMER EVALUATION OF EDA TOOL

AXILICA LIMITED

30th September 2008

IPSO Ventures plc (“IPSO”), the IP commercialisation specialist, is pleased to announce that the electronic design automation (“EDA”) tool, FalconML, developed by Axilica Limited (“Axilica”), an IPSO investee company, has completed a successful trial by a major electronics company.

Axilica’s product, which brings software and hardware design closer, has been developed to simplify and speed up the design process of semiconductor chips, enabling quicker delivery to market. The successful trial provided confirmation that FalconML successfully generated a VHDL - hardware description language - from Unified Modelling Language (“UML”) for a complex chip design in a commercial environment.

Simon Hunt, Chairman of IPSO, said: “The successful evaluation of FalconML in a commercial environment proves that Axilica has achieved what it set out to do and paves the way the product’s launch to the wider market in December 2008.”

Suresh Radia, a non-executive director of Axilica who has 25 years’ experience in the EDA market, added: “System companies are keen to make hardware and software trade-off decisions earlier in the design process. FalconMl’s ability to synthesise UML/SysML into Hardware Description Language will allow this to happen.
