Tim Clover
Chief Executive Officer, Moonray Healthcare
Tim joined Moonray Healthcare in January 2009 as Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the creation, long term strategy and international expansion of the company. Moonray is the biomedical technology investment vehicle of Fidelity International. He brings with him twenty years of experience within the medical and pharmaceutical industry.
Before joining Moonray Healthcare, Tim was Chief Executive Officer of T+ Medical Holdings Ltd., a private international medical technology company specialising in remote patient management and electronic clinical trials. During his time there Tim worked closely with private equity shareholders, acquired synergistic companies and was responsible for the successful launch of T+ Medical Americas Inc., becoming President of that company in 2006. Tim left T + Medical following a strategic investment by Vodafone in 2009.
Prior to moving to T + Medical Holdings Ltd, Tim was Vice President for Europe, Middle East and Africa, for Eyecare with Allergan Inc., a multi- speciality healthcare company. Tim went on to be a founding member of Advanced Medical Optics Inc., which spun off from Allergan in 2002 to be an independent company. AMO Inc. grew into a leading medical device company focusing on the discovery and delivery of innovative vision technologies operating internationally with sales in excess of $1bn and publically quoted on the NYSE. During that time Tim had various business and product line responsibilities across EMEA and Asia, including multiple acquisition and new product launches.
Tim has a degree in Mathematics and Physics from York University and an MBA. In his spare time he enjoys keeping fit and competes in several triathlons each year (his enthusiasm compensating for declining speeds).
