IPSol Energy (IPSol) provides business and technical solutions to the Solar Photovoltaic (PV) market with a focus on the provision of testing services. IPSol will leverage its partnership with Loughborough University to rapidly enter the market and utilize world-leading Solar PV expertise to guide and establish IPSol as the touchstone for Solar PV Testing and a leading global Solar PV Solutions Provider.

Rising energy prices, depletion of fossil fuels, concerns about climate change and energy security have all contributed to the remarkable growth of PV in the last decade. This has resulted in currently significant unmet needs within PV testing. Shortages of capacity have meant lengthy waiting times before the testing procedures can even begin, and extended testing periods, resulting in delays in product development and certification.

This, often combined with poor customer service and inconvenient locations, calls for innovation in the sector. This together with the new UK renewable energy feed in tariffs being introduced from April 2010 will provide even more impetus for IPSol.
